“We don’t need no stinkin’ linear plot lines.” to paraphrase “Sierra Madre”.
I’m so glad for XPN, that turns me on to really great new music (at least new to me). Listen and love.

I’ve been telling my friends and children about xx. I love their sparse and dreamy sound.
I love pierogies , and although not the healthiest of foods, it’s basic enough to appeal to my ‘keep it simple’ mentality. Trader Joe’s is my friend, and they have some really good pierogies there.
Promotion
I decided to use this holiday period to give myself a promotion from lurker to mini-blogger. I’m not a NBB (as per Dave Winer), although I’ve managed on occasion to keep a journal. Infrequently I might add. Maybe the reluctance to share my writings started when I sent in a review to Rolling Stone of a Johnny Cash television taping with Neil Young and James Taylor as guests. I got a nice boiler-plate rejection letter. Let’s see if I keep this up for any length of time. Hopefully Tumblr is my friend.
Treadmill Desk
Saw Dr. Levine on 20/20, and got inspired by his Treadmill Desk. Went to Lowes, got some parts and now I have a tricked out Treadmill Desk. Used it today, and will in the future do my work on my Macbook, while walking on the treadmill. I’m motivated.
Motivation
I went to REI yesterday and bought a couple of biking shirts. Had to buy X-Large, so that got me to wake up this morning and get on the bike. I did 20 minutes, and boy am I out of shape. Hopefully it’s true that a journey starts with one step.
So Many Web 2.0 Services
Just joined tumblr, and thought how many web services can one user take? I am a dedicated early adopter, and try out a lot of services. I just bought a Chumby, and that is becoming my latest obsession. I love how it sits by my bedside and wakes me up in the morning. I check my gmail, and read the NYT news. Kewl.
Cheers,
Henry
